Formed in 2001 in Loughborough, Northern Quarter are an acoustic band who mainly play their own material from their 3 CDs: 2005’s One of These Songs is About You; 2008’s - Busy Missing Everything and 2012’s About Time. Their music is characterised by the complementary vocal styles and harmonies of lead singers Gerry Farrow and Victoria Warburton blending with the duel cajon & percussion section to produce a unique live sound experience. Northern Quarter can be seen regularly gigging around the East Midlands and have headlined the acoustic stage at the Glastonbudget festival on 3 occasions in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and opened the main stage at the Acoustic Festival of Britain in 2013.
